Easton Technology TS-WS2813 LED strip lights are digitally addressable smart light strips that produce an infinite variety of color combinations in dynamic rhythms within a single run. The digital RGB LED strip lights bring new levels of sophistication to numerous interior and exterior applications when combined with standalone RGB controllers or full DMX512 control systems. These applications range from architectural decorative lighting, retail display lighting, automobile and bicycle decoration, border or contour lighting, landscape lighting and festive lighting to animated lighting for night clubs, bars, restaurants, casinos, and stage shows.
The light strip uses individually addressable WS2813 modules which are 5050 sized LED packages integrating three separate LED chips (red, green, blue) and control circuitry. The control circuitry consists of a programmable constant current power supply module, a precision oscillator, a shaping amplifier and data latches. The intelligent internal controllers allow the RGB LEDs to be individually addressed via an SPI serial interface, which enables a multitude of DMX addressable lighting possibilities that are impossible with conventional LED tapes. A WS2813 module has two signal wires - data wire and backup data wire. With two-wire SPI protocol, the intelligent LED module can execute continuous breakpoint transmission. This design improves data transmission reliability and eliminates the catastrophic failure of a strip of LEDs upon the failure of a single pixel.
The TS-WS2813 family comprises of 30, 60 and 144 LED p/m tapes that provides various levels of illumination uniformity. With 24-bit color control (8-bit PWM per channel), the RGB LED chips with each having 256 intensity levels combine to produce a full spectrum of light with a total of 16,777,216 possible colors. The full RGB color mixing ability and individual addressability of WS2813 LED modules enable a distributed intelligence architecture that allows different color patterns to be created on multiple nodes simultaneously. Integration with RGB controllers and advanced DMX-based control solutions can create dynamic lighting scenes such as chases, sequences, fades, scrolls and bursts. The light strip is remote controllable with RF remotes, mobile phone APPs through WiFi transmitters, or wireless DMX transmission and receiver systems.
The 5050 SMD LED modules are mounted on 10mm (30, 60 LED p/m tapes) and 12mm (144 LED p/m tape) wide 3-ounce PCBs for superior bending stability and heat dissipation. The black or white finished flexible PCBs are made of double layer rolled and annealed (RA) copper foils which are known for their high fatigue performance and excellent metallurgical bonding strength. The LED strip is fabricated through a highly automated SMT process which includes picking and placing of LEDs, screen printing of lead-free solder and a multi-zone reflow profile. This process creates solder joints with improved mechanical and thermal resistance that ensures optical performance for years to come. The flexible PCB comes with various levels of ingress protection, including IP20, IP65 (dust tight and protected against water jets), IP67 (dust tight and protected against temporary immersion) and IP68 (dust tight and protected against submersion).
