Designed for both flat and sloped ceiling installations, the ceiling spotlight includes an LED module that can be rotated 360 degrees and tilted 37 degrees. The center beam optics of the LED module utilize a high transmittance diffusing lens which provides glare control and shapes the radiation pattern. A high reflectivity facet reflector optimizes the distribution of luminous flux. The factory interchangeable 18° and 36° beam distributions allow the directional luminaire to highlight a distinctive feature with spotlighting and accentuate shapes and contours with floodlighting. The Diamond Series LED spotlights incorporate chip-on-board (COB) light sources which have large luminous surfaces allowing for tighter beam control and higher punch. High lumen density light source combined with precision hybrid optics enables high center beam intensity and uniformity that make the spotlights ideally suited to directional accent lighting in commercial, retail and hospitality applications.
The Ansen Diamond Series ceiling spotlights consist of the 25W and 40W models which respectively produce 2200 and 3400 lumens of high quality white light, with correlated color temperatures available in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K. These luminaires come standard with color rendition greater than 80 CRI. The enriched 90+ CRI models are available to accommodate high-end applications where high color fidelity is essential. A tight chromaticity specification with 3-step MacAdam ellipse ensures LED color uniformity across an installation of luminaires. Thanks to a high performance LED driver that provides an accurate output current with a low ripple value, the Diamond Series LED spotlights produce flicker-free illumination which is essential to avoid eye stress. The built-in constant current driver provides exceptional line and load regulation across a wide range of operation conditions, allowing the COB LED to run to their optimum performance throughout the luminaire's long rated life.
The 6-inch LED spotlight features an exceptionally robust construction that ensures full functionality of the lighting system across a wide temperature spectrum. The luminaire maintains an optimal junction temperature through a combination of conductive and convective thermal dissipation. A high thermal conductivity aluminum heat sink provides high efficiency dissipation of thermal energy generated in the p-n junction and conducted to the heat sink via a high performance TIM. A cooling fan which uses magnetic levitation technology for noise-free and dependable operation provides forced convection to blow heat out of the vented, ignition resistant PC housing. Built-in over-temperature protection allows the driver circuit to reduce drive current in the event of overheating.
